1. Lost of garage space to my new R129 project, will be fun when two Gt cr finally do a road trip together
2. Sold my Camry to a coworker
3. Doesnt want to drive a pickup all day long
finally got my supercharger bracket spacers machined by the local machine shop. Temporarily mounted the bracket and SC up to verify everything would clear and it looks good. When I had the Sc rebuilt, they didn’t mark its outlet angle, so I’m going to have to clock it (as they say) so SC outlet lines up with the IC inlet piping. No biggie, just annoying.
also got injectors mounted. Daetschwerkz 850cc. Does not fit OEM ID orings, going to have to buy aftermarket orings (pic of proper oring from D Tech). Oem falls right off. Going to pull and then replace orings.

Well gents, I'm back in the country, the car is out of storage and I immediately started tearing into it hopefully getting it ready <enough> for next years track season. First stop is an update to the seats. As much as I loved the Tillett seat I had, it was a bit too tight for my genetically gifted manly self, so it was time for an upgrade to the Recaro Podium CF seats (large pads). Let me tell you guys something; go with your instinct and buy the seat that feels comfy, it makes the car feel mmmm-mmm sooo good. Def a great upgrade and worth the price premium over the tilletts. Fun fact thought; the Tillett B1 is a good couple of lbs lighter than the CF Recaro Podium.
I'll eventually get the passenger side, but there's a few other things that need to be done first. Anyways 9/10 upgrade, I highly recommend.
It's been a while since anyone posted here, so I'll give it a bump.
I ripped out my blown motor, sandblasted the engine bay, acid etched it, then sealed it with POR15. Preparing for an engine swap. Thankfully Sikky has some black friday deals.
engine bay was in terrible condition due to surface rust. I needed to at minimum sandblast everything, reseal, and repaint. For now that's the way to go. Long term a few years down the line I may need to get into the panels, but for now this is the path of least resistance:
