@Urbanengineer It's always amazed me that those cheapo $30 Harbor Freight Shittsburgh creepers are the best in the industry lol. I even got my boss to order them for work and we have an almost unlimited budget for tools lol.
Bring the car out of the garage since someone want to look at it and my buddy been complaining that i don't even drive it to cars and coffee erc.... back to garage afterwards lol
I've only driven it about 2k miles in the last four years, but the project G is ready for some real attention now. Last summer I replaced every suspension part on the front and rear of our 2007 subaru outback plus front CV axles, head gasket/timing/water pump stuff. Then I went a bit crazy on my DD 2016 Juke with poly subframe bushings, poly engine and trans mounts, exhaust, short-shifter, wheels & tires, front struts and rear shocks, CarPlay receiver, all new speakers, and sound-matted the floorpan, doors, roof, etc.
On the G35 I'm currently doing front lower control arm ball joints, shock bushings, and LCA bushings. Compression rod bushings & ball joints. While I was removing the braces that secure the compression rod mounting studs, the two 13mm bolts on each side's brace sheared off. Tried welding nuts to them a dozen times but I ended up cutting out the area around the sheared off bolts and replaced with new metal. Going to weld in studs for each and then attach the braces with a washer and flange nut.
Next project is tackling the rear subframe and diff bushings, followed by all new rear arms etc. I have a spreadsheet of all modifications & repairs on each of our four vehicles, just trying to work my through them one thing at a time.
Covered the Center Console with red to match seats
Using some eBay red leather-ish material with black stitching, some glue and some automotive 3M double sided tape got the center console also covered red to match seats.
Had my valve covers and gaskets replaced and OEM clutch replaced with a ZSpeed EZ Street Quiet kit and resurfaced OEM flywheel. Preceded to immediately stall out in the parking lot to take her home
Took off that Tanabe. Medallion exhaust today.
Got tired of the drone.
Put the stock back on and much better.
More low end and no Drone!. Still sounds good WOT.
The medallion sounded great WOT but that’s it.
Still have FI HFC’s and an ISR y pipe.
Could have had a j pipe (Heimholtz?) welded in at the right length.
Not worth it to me.
Anybody want this exhaust I’ll sell it cheap.Has maybe 2000 miles.
No dents. I’ll get around to putting it on the for sale thread.

These things are pretty. The Kinetix ball joints weren’t coming off. Had to cut the huge nut off even after heating it with a map torch and using a 4 ft breaker bar. Even my big ugga-dugga air tool wouldn’t break it free.
doing a bunch of little maintenance/upgrade stuff on my 05 sedan. Solid Z1 engine mounts, ISR shorty headers, valve covers, spark plugs, steering rack bushings, front lower control arm & compression rod rebuild w/ new poly bushings, rebuilt kinetix FUCA’s.
It’s going to be a busy winter for me. Dropping the rear subframe for all new everything. Replacing all subframe and diff bushings with solid. Gutting the interior, timing service and oil gallery.
