Is it hard to just slightly darken my tail lights? I dont want to tint them. Just darken them slightly so that teir a darker cherry red. Would i just do one or two coats of spray tint? I have an 06 coupe.

Anyone have pics of cherry tails on a black coupe?
And yes, i tried searching

You could do just one very light coat of NiteShade. Two will be way too dark if you do two or even a thick first coat in my opinion. Just be advised that if you get busted, it's kind of a pain to return them to a gloss without any imperfections.

You might want to look into some layovers or something. I don't have experience with them, but I could see them being easier to remove if you had to. Perhaps someone can chime in regarding this.

Yes one light (far away spray) of tint coat will make them cherry red.

do this and take before and after pictures please. I'm interested in trying this out as well.

p.s. dont do too many coats. a friend of mine did his mitsu and the **** turned out pink, another friend of mine did this to his genesis (to get rid of the clear turn signals) and it turned out awesome, looks like its factory. they both used the VHT red spray tint.

If you're looking to shell out a ton of money. The '06 tails are sick and darkening is much, much cheaper.

I actually sold my 07 tails for more than I paid for new JDM tails, lol.
