Brembo Color?

Hey all,

I have an '04 Red 6MT Coupe with the sport package. I'm planning on changing my OEM wheels to a satin black and I just don't think the standard orange Brembo caliper color will fit with my red and black color scheme.

I was thinking of repainting the calipers to be red but I also like the idea of silver or black.

Red: http://www.101modifiedcars.com/modif...lled-rotor.jpg

Silver: http://image.mustang50magazine.com/f...h_1+wheels.jpg

Black: http://www.jimmy540i.com/pics/brembo.jpg

AND I really like the idea of yellow!

Yellow: http://fatlace.com/lacedup/wp-conten.../10/Brembo.jpg

Any thoughts? Thanks!!

Silver or black calipers would be pretty classy. I've always been a fan of yellow brakes as well but I think that if you have a red and black color scheme going on, yellow might clash with that a bit.

Yeah, I feel ya. The silver could be classy. But I dig the yellow based on some Porsches I've seen with the same colors: http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog....hegt2red_2.jpg

It doesn't look too bad on that Porsche. I still would go for black or silver in my opinion since you have a black/red color scheme going on.

I thought Brembo's were red to begin with? Never seen them in orange. Maybe I'm just color-blind.

This is the stock color for G35s and 350Zs with the Sport/Brembo package: http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_...0005_large.jpg

Two things we can all agree on BBKs are:

1. Performance

2. Looks

For looks, if you want it to be seen then go with brighter colors. Yellow would be best if you only have the black. Having Red, Black, and Yellow will make your car look like a flag from a foreign country. My opinion would be to go with Red.

I'm a huge fan of Silver calipers. This is what I have currently... not on my car tho'. lol

Before you say that's not Brembo logo, it's actually Brembo's classic racing logo... JFYI.

Ah ok, thanks for jogging my memory. Yeah I'm not sure how great that would look with black wheels....I like the red/white font idea though.

^^ The gold would definitely look good with black on black. But yeah, not so much with the red…

THANKS everyone for your thoughts and opinions!

Since your G is LR and you're doing the red & black theme, red's probably the best choice....^....

Several thoughts, red would look good with the theme your using! Silver or Black would look clean. Yellow however would look "FUGLY" so please any color but this one....Gary
