I found a local 2008 350z owner who will sell me their entire stock exhaust for 120. She wouldn't part just the hr y pipe. Should I buy at that price and is the rest something that will sell? I just installed the g35 coupe midpipe on my sedan and am not sure if I should buy a Megan y pipe down the road or this 350z y pipe. Input on deal? I'm new to this scene

 

You should do that. There's a few guys looking for just the tips off our OEM exhaust. You can saw those things off, polish them up and sell them for $40-50. Then the 350z Midpipe, you can sell it for like $40 to a G sedan owner just to get rid of it. All the buyer would need to do is buy a cheap 6" extension and they're set. All in all, you paid ~$40 for a HR y pipe that you can sell down the road for $100 plus. That's what I would do at least.. Lol but I'm fuggin cheap!

You may be able to get the exhaust a little cheaper. Plenty of those are floating around for a little less. Good deal though!

 

I picked it up. Hopefully the other parts sell. I was listening to my cra tonight n my exhaust sounds loud underneath the car like there's a little popping and diesel sound to it. Not too loud. Is that clutch rattle you think? I know it's tough when there's no video up
