100k Service question

Just hit 98k on my '04 6mt that serves as my DD and before I hit the big 100k, I'm wondering if I should go to the dealer or some shop to get the service done. Is there a difference? Price? Quality of work? I know clutch fluid/tranny flush shouldn't cost a lot etc.

but is it better to do some of the work required for a 100k service yourself to save $$ and the rest that I won't have time to do for the shop to handle? What's your guys thoughts..

If you know a shop that does good work that the price is going to beat the dealers, then go for it. I am going to do that when the time comes

I know of several quality independent shops I could take my ride to for this kinda service. Any of them would be cheaper than the Stealerships and the quality of work easily better. Nissan is no longer recommending the trans flush! The results are better if you drain & fill a few times when changing oil within a few months....Gary

Any good recommendations for G35/350Z shops around the greater LA area?
