Question Weighted shift **** vs Non weighted shift ****

Im looking to buy a after market shift **** for my 05 coupe 6mt.
I was wondering the differences between Weighted shift ***** and Non weighted.
Which one should I get?

Ive heard weighted make it funner to drive...is this true
and what are some good shift *****, my budget is up to a 100

I'm really like the Nismo carbon fiber shifterhttp://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=3270

I honestly don't think a shift ****, whether weighted or not, makes that much difference...therefore, I would just order what you think looks best.

I have a Razo 0.7lbs shift ****, and makes driving so different.
The weight allows gears to fall right in, and the shorter throw much easier, on top of being a ball ****, such natural full handed (palm) shifting.

Try this one out, you wont regret it.

Here's mine. Forged CNC SS Shift ****. $115

Best Review... If i had the money i would have bought a tommy kaira. But its hard to justify spending $200 on a ****.

But the kaira looks bad azz.

Yea I dont wanna drop 200 I'm saving for coilover. I actually like yours better, I mean the kaira looks badass but I don't really like the ball effect, yours seems perfect.

i just installed this one two days ago, weighs a little less than the oem **** but it's much smaller so the weight feels about the same...kinda hard to explain, probably just has something to do with size, density, weight proportion. the only thing i don't like about it, is 1: the carbon fiber spins freely around the shaft of the ****, fixed that with super glue. and 2: it didn't come with a rubber washer for the bottom so i'm searching for one right now. overall though, good price, good feel and looks good in the car too

Also go to home depot they will have a washer that fits, I've heard ppl have the same problem. Could you upload a pic of it in your car by any chance. on fb or on here...

Some people like the feel of weighted, some people like the feeling of unweighted. I prefer weighted based on the various cars I've driven, but it all comes down to personal preference. It's not a huge deal between the two, but I think you should get whichever one you think looks the best.
