Does anyone know the official name of the hose that attaches to the intake tube? I believe it is a coolant(?) tube, but I've seen it called a few different things. The previous owner cut it, so I need to replace it in order to use the z-tube I bought. Also, are they fairly easy to install?

Not sure if it's necessary, but this is the hose I'm talking about.

Its a vacuum hose. A dealer will be able to get you the specifics on it and I doubt it costs much.

 

Nissan installed it for a reason and yes it's a vacuum hose. Any auto parts store will have the correct size hose, no reason to visit the stealership unless you enjoy spending 50% more....Gary
