installed the rear 350z stechs about to do the fronts right now

hey guys hows it going...soo my 350z stechs came today...bought them off a member off the 350z forum.. i installed the rears right now and im going to autozone to rent a spring compressor... but when i dropped the rear it doesnt look like it did anything really...do the springs still need to settle a lil bit even though there used?.. im def gonna do the spring mount mod..sux i gotta take everything off again but i was expecting it to be a lil lower... i measured it and its sitting at about 27 1/4" right now... ok well off to auto zone ill brb and post some pix up

arnt the 350z stechs on the g35 a lil lower then the stechs for the g35? im not looking to be slammed i know the springs wouldnt do that but thought it would be lower then a 2 finger gap.. the pix ive looked at on here looks like there sittin lower then what mine is.. im trying to get the fronts on right now...the bolts are tight as hell though.. backs were way easier lol

its sittin like the z h-techs in the back right now..maybe they just need to settle a lil bit..proly help if i do the spring mount mod to

if they're new, give them time to settle. but it won't be a drastic difference.

heres some pix.. gonna do the rear spring mount mod tomrrow.. gonna finish the fronts as well.. gonna get my air compressor from my father inlaw to cause air tools seem soo much nicer when using the spring compressor

I have about a finger and a half gap in the rear and a half finger in the front with my s techs, but i also have the oem 19's. Have fun with the front, you may want an extra helping hand it took me and a friend about 4-5 hours for the front and 45 minutes for the rear

look for the DIY on spring installs, i just put my eibach pro kit on and i have no finger gap all the way around lol

lol see i was expecting like 1 finger gap all around from all the pictures ive looked at.. soo far im doing this all by myself.. i think the spring compressor is the worst part..its a pain in the ***.. i got the passenger side front off and just need to compress the lowering spring soo it will fit back on.. i should finish it by tonight..way to hot to work during the day which sux.. but once i get the front done..gonna drive it around the block then measure the ground to fender wall front and rear soo i know how much to cut off the rear..

just finished installing the right side...and i got the driver side lowering spring on just need to take the spring compressor off and install it...gonna take it down the street after to make sure its all snug and right then gonna back it in and take the rear off again and cut the spring mounts to match the front....fun fun fun so cal weather isnt helping either...hot as hell in my garage....next on my to-do list is to buy air tools...woulda made this job a ton easier more pix comming soon of the front
