HELP! Cracking noise when i accelerate

Anyone have any idea what it could be? As soon as i hit the gas, i hear snap or single crack type of noise from somewhere under the car. Doesnt seem to do it when i just sit and rev the engine that ive noticed. I was thinking maybe the suspension, but im kinda leaning more towards maybe something in the drive train. Maybe shaft or motor trans mount? Any ideas? Anyone ever heard this in there car?

Only way to find a noise is to get'er on a rack and start looking at the suspension pieces. I have an idea what it might be but you need to check the suspension....Gary

I know exactly what you're talking about. I have the same sound coming from my car. My clutch is holding on by a string so I thought it could be that. Either way, Im having the mechanic check it out when he does my clutch.
