1. That sweet VQ sound
2. RWD
3. Good OEM performance
4. MT
5. LSD
6. A mound of standard features that some competitors don't offer

Had to get rid of an Acura CL-S where transmission had failed twice, downshifted from 5th to like 2nd on a freeway at 80 mph! That said, another Acura was out of the question, and so my search began. I had to have a coupe, it's all I've driven, I just can't get used to a sedan. My choices at the time (2007) were G35 or a BMW. I didn't want to be just another schmuck in a bimmer and maintenance was ridiculous, so the G35 was the easy choice. I found one with every option available, plus a whole bunch of dealer added accessories. It had been their showroom car, I guess. Anyway, it was a little out of my price range, but I went in and test drove it anyway, I figured I'd offer what I could and if I got it, great! Well, I got it and 5 yrs later I still get compliments on the car! You can't say that about an Acura or a BMW, and Lexus, well, that's an old man's car, imo.

Even with a stock g35, you can get a lot more attention than bmws because our cars are just too sexy. All i did was lowering it and exhaust...so many wandering eyes. I love this car and am trying to get some body parts. What have you done to yours so far?

The wif found a sweet deal on a V36 sedan to replace my rice rocket. The wif knows I'm a Nissan fan and this one had more power, more luxury, and more leg room than my current (at the time) S14a. The updated exterior also took me off guard.

Later, I replaced the S14a with a V35 coupe. It had the same sweet exhaust note and was fun to drive.

In both cars, I always get the, "It always smells good in here."

i've always loved the way the coupe looked from the time i started seeing them back in 2002-2003. i was around 16 at the time and definitely couldn't afford it. i even have some pics of me sitting in them at the ny auto show from '05 and '06 and knew one day i would have one. well that day finally came a little over a year ago and i still absolutely love it!

so to sum up, very good looking car with v6, manual trans, rwd, nice power, decent gas mileage, amazing stock exhaust sound, reliable, luxurious.. all i need.

i see there are a lot of 240 owners here, myself included. good stuff!

I just bought my 05 a few months ago. I have been drive sports cars and convertibles all my life. We have a 2 year old little girl and we were driving my wifes jeep grand Cherokee with the Hemi as our family car, but with the gas prices climbing it was getting ridiculous. So I sold one of my convertibles and told the wife I wanted a g35. There where none in the area so she talked me into a Jaguar xtype for the all wheel drive. Wisconsin winters suck. Well we both hated it, so I sold it 2 months later. Then spent a month without a car and drove hours on end to search for a decent used g. I didn't really want the new one, or a car payment either. So the search began for an 03-06 x. We finally found one about 2 hours away and brought it home. I have always loved the g35 style since it first came out, but no convertible back then so I never bought one. Then when they finally came out with a convertible we got pregnant. So I gave in and bought a sedan.
