So I sold one of my convertibles and told the wife I wanted a g35. There where none in the area so she talked me into a Jaguar xtype for the all wheel drive. Wisconsin winters suck. Well we both hated it, so I sold it 2 months later. Then spent a month without a car and drove hours on end to search for a decent used g. I didn't really want the new one, or a car payment either. So the search began for an 03-06 x. We finally found one about 2 hours away and brought it home. I have always loved the g35 style since it first came out, but no convertible back then so I never bought one. Then when they finally came out with a convertible we got pregnant. So I gave in and bought a sedan.
wow seems like you had lots of car drama haha. well congrat on getting another g35!

I wanted rear wheel drive, a back seat and the ability to heavily modify. The Lexus IS 350 had to go since the ECU couldnt be unlocked at the time.

Wanted another 350Z but wanted some room (cuz I'm no longer at Army weight..lol). G35 was perfect for me. LOVE the VQ, LOVE the RWD, LOVE the 6pd. Just love the car really. I did notice the weight difference in the G (cuz I just got it and I got rid of my Z in 05), but overall, it's very similar. And my Z was fairly stripped. This bad boy is loaded. It'll be stripped when I'm done with it, but for now, I'm enjoying amenities.

Had a 1990 Acura Legend. I got a 2004 G35x because it was the closest thing I could get to a GTR.
... and now I'm tempted to actually get a GTR...

I had a 02' Maxima, have always been diehard Niss/Infini so it was just a matter of which one, gf bought a 08' EX35 AWD, the next week I purchased a PRISTINE 07' G35x. What's not to like, price, lines, performance, handling, interior, there's just not another car in it's class that provides more for the buck.

Personally for me, I always wanted one. The first time I saw a G35 coupe with the Brembo it was for sure I'm going to get one. The led taillight just make it pop and the VQ tone is something else.

G35
Rear end and exhaust note what attracted me to it the most. The exhaust was always music to my ears

sport package coupe, 1JZ swap
For me it was almost random. My daily driver at the time was starting to break every week and it was time for a new car. At first I had my heart set on owning a supra, but when I realized that I lived in a void in the US where no supras are for sale I gave up and really didn't know what to get. So I just started browsing auto trader with the coupe and manual filter on because I knew thats the style I wanted. The scrolling through the pages looked something like this: Mustang, mustang, mustang, mustang... Oh theres a firebird, mustang, mustang, mustang... geez people must really not like mustangs. So I started scrolling faster and faster untill I wasn't really even looking at the pictures when all of the sudden something caught my eye and it JUST SO HAPPEND to be a G with it's splendiferous body styling. went to go test drive one a week later, subsequently had my head glued to the headrest when the guy riding with me told me to floored it, embarrassed myself at the dealership by not knowing how to put it into reverse and have loved driving it ever since

Had too many Mustangs, needed a good winter car. The only sedan that I liked that was fun to drive was a G35x...so I bought one. Loved it ever since day 1
