Totaled G35 on 95 North yesterday spin out
Ok, it's raining here today and on my way to work I felt the car get loose just a bit when switching lanes, again at around 60-65mph. My tires are at around 30-35 psi and still have good tread left. The problem is that water accumulates between lanes, so just be careful when it's raining.
Ive done it, simply changing lanes with very slight acceleration. I hit the brakes (wrongwrongwrong) and spun on the highway. thankfully noone hit me.

Yeah, I've been watching those tires too. I'm hearing they rock for the price in dry but suck in colder temperatures perhaps a little more than more expensive summer tires. Sounds like the tire to a blast in 70oF+ but don't even think about colder. The car I drove on track recently had V12s and I loved them at 73oF. They refused to slide out of control. They slid when pushed, but you had sooo much more room for error. I NEVER got them to feel scary when I pushed them. I did not do anything stupid, but I DID try to give it a little gas and stuff why sliding to see how they responded. Nothing. Apparently much cooler an they turn into killers. Classic get what you paid for.

I have the Hankook Ventus V12 EVO's on now and I'm located in NE Ohio.
In dry conditions with VDC off i barely get them to spin from a stop. (also have AT)
Wet conditions they are great, cruised down a highway in pouring rain at 75mph with no issues or worries, however turning corners I've gotten sideways a few times. Now I just wait until there's no oncoming traffic and don't risk it.
Cold conditions...it's another animal. It's dropped as low as 34 here once, it sounded like I had a flat tire because they made so much road noise.
But in 40-45 days I can get them to spin wildly at stop lights.
It's very close to hibernation period...
Am considering All-Season Michelins for next spring. Anyone have those?
:sidenote I have 19" wheel/tire

I have Kumho Ecsta ASX all season tires and with good tread left.
