2011 Acura RDX Turbo

Ok my mom has an Acura RDX it can with a turbo. I was wondering if I could take it out and put it in my 2003 G35 sedan. If I can would it be easy, what would it do to my moms car, and if its hard how much would it cost to get someone to do it for me?

Please limit yourself to putting gas in both cars and leave the upkeep to qualified mechanics.

Just thinking about feels like a pain... you would need quite a bit of custom fabrication. But I was also told that with enough money anything is possible.

It's possible to free fall from the edge of space and live. Doesn't mean stealing your mom's turbo and hacking it onto your G is a good idea.

I wouldn't. You would be messing up your mom's car by doing this. Who knows what your car will go through. Just buy one that is mad for our cars.

It would ruin the RDX.
Honda designed a variable flow turbocharger specifically for a highrevving 2.3L 4cyl engine, my guess is it wouldn't work on a 3.5 V6, but could be wrong. It'd be cheaper to get a Turbonetics kit.
My dad has a F-150 with the Ecoboost, last thing on my mind is going and taking that off and throwing it on my G35.

I do believe you gave everyone a good laugh today though, and we do need more of that!

HAHAHAHA I dont even know how to field this one. Yes its possible, but it would ruin your moms car, and your going to be in it like 5-6 grand to make it fit. Swapping a turbo is not as easy as 1-2-3. On top of that how many miles are on your stock motor? If your over 70k dont even think of adding a turbo without a rebuild on the engine. Thats my thoughts.

As a 16 year old, the last thing you need is to put a turbo on your car in my opinion and most will agree. That is bad news waiting to happen. Save your money.
