Angry Car acting up

Recently my 06AT coupe started acting up. When I hit 80 on the speedometer it's starts to jerk and lowers speed. Anybody have this issue?

sounds like you got a limiter on it.

Did it go over 80 before? Did you just buy it?

Is there a check engine light on?

Does it rev over 3k in other gears? Like from a stop?

If the speedo is acting weird maybe is a vehicle speed sensor (not sure how the G does speed calculation, maybe uses some other sensors).

Lots to look into, give us some more info.

I just traded for it about 3 months ago and I don't remember having any issues like that before.

I've had the SES light on since I got it its a P0011 (camshaft sensor)
Recently changed it with a autozone sensor and light went off for a couple miles then came back on.

Have you checked the code recently? Could have a new code stored now.

Out of curiousity, are your tires different diameters?

Yes had it checked the following day after I changed the sensor and it came back with the same P0011 code. My tires are 235/30/20 all around

I'm pretty sure it your camshaft sensors man. There two of them (passenger and driver side). I would recommend to replace them with factory ones.

yeah i would look more into the cam sensors and make sure you replaced the correct bank and also go back with the oem sensors as stated above. try to search p0011 on the search feature on this site and see if it can point you in the right direction

Have you checked your oil level?

Had the same code pop up in my Altima 3.5 SE and it made the car do strange things. The whole thing was causes by a low oil level.

P0011 is a camshaft sensor as you already know.

I'd start there. Your issue might not be speed related, and more RPM related instead. Either way, the code and the symptoms point to a camshaft sensor being a highly probably possibility as to the cause.
