Whats up everyone
so just sold the g35 yesterday.. as much as I loved owning the car it had to be done.The little things were starting to drive me crazy and I had no intention of dumping anymore money in it (door locks, window motors, creeks/rattles, random SES lights, arbitrarily high insurance rates etc.). Dont get me wrong, I loved every minute of owning it, and built it from stock to the ground up but it just wasn't a practical daily for me.

Anyways, I was basically 99% set on a TL type-s for my next car but after seeing the prices of some of the g37 coupes out there, they look like pretty good buys. I did a good weeks worth of research on the TL-s before even deciding it was an option, I plan to do the same now with the g37, just wanted some of your guys opinions.

Im looking specifically for a 6mt coupe, will not settle for anything more or less. I found a good bit of info here:

but one guy posted that apparently the 08-10s are reporting oil consumption issues???? I went through hell with the whole oil issue in my g35 and the last thing I want is to face the same problem..

Anyone have some experience in these? Known issues they've experienced?

I have heard the same thing. I don't own one myself but I have been reading like crazy on OC and found that some have been affected on the g37 as well.

One question tho, I find this to be very common that owners of a g35 look into the TL's. And I find that to be strange, it's entirely different. Why did you lean they way?
