It all comes down the formula saying TOTAL/FIX. I'm pretty sure OP gets no choice on the matter.

JDMEG loves his car, he can decide after it's fixed if he wants to keep it or not! Those of us that are attached to our rides find it difficult to sell or walk away from what we've spent years maintaining...Gary

I am very attached to my G but after such a hit it'll never be the same car again. & not to mention having very hard time selling it down the road if he decides to.

So yes, I'm deciding to keep the car and have it fixed. the insurance is not totaling it out. Damage wasn't high enough. I spoke with the body shop manager, and expressed my concern about the damage and affects this would have further down the road. He reassured me that the cars structure was ok. I also spoke to him previously about warranty and their work is guarenteed for life. I feel comfortable with having the car repaired. I don't think the insurance would be dumb enough to fix and give back a car to a customer knowing that they are endangering the drivers life down the road because of structural issues

With that being said. I'm in a slight dilemma, The Rims I have are now discontinued, and I have to get new rims, So since I need to figure out what rim style i will be buying which I'm torn between 2 rims I need a pair of front wheels for the body shop to use to get the front end level. I don't want the work to be done without the car being even. Yes they are a professional body shop and I know they probably know what to do or will figure something out to get the car level before doing work but I will feel more comfortable if the front has 2 matching wheels so its balanced from left to right.

So if anyone has a pair of stock wheels or any 2 matching front wheels that I can borrow I would really appreciate it and will even pay for the time that I borrow them. Thank guys.

This sucks, but to point out the obvious, you came out unscratched.
As far as the car goes, I personally wouldn't want that particular one back, just seems like there could be parts that may not show evidence of malfunction yet, at which point, you'd be stuck with the cost of repairs.

Sorry to hear that man, I had my G fixed by a body shop after a hit to it and its been 3 years since and it seems to be okay. As long as you are dealing with a good body shop everything should be okay.

That sucks. There will never be another car like the G. It's a very classy car. Nice clean body lines. Sexy as hell from the rear. Awesome deep exhaust note bone stock.

Looking at the 2016 Q60, looks like they're trying to hard. Body lines all over the place. Like it comes out looking rice straight from the factory.
