Any known shops/vendors in the DC/MD/VA area?

I'm looking for a place to work, learn, and soon design my own aftermarket parts. It's all I've ever wanted to do. I thought I wanted to design cars, but not only is it easier to get in the NFL, it's too technical, and would probably be 50 before I can work on a fun supercar like my childhood dreams.

After all, I love modification and personalizing cars since Igot my first car, an 08 Scion tC. I've kept my G stock for the most part, only have the nismo front bumper. Too broke.

If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it!

I live in MD, hope to stay around here but I would consider moving if it'd be worth it (I am currently employed and have some debt to clear up).

I eventually want to start my own company, focusing on creating beautiful parts that fit OEM style, break the generic "fit-one-design-into-every-car" trend, and without breaking anyone's pockets.

If you have another idea, I'm all ears!

So do you want to be a mechanic or an engineer? If you just want to fix and work on cars, there are several great shops to apply at (Elite Imports and Hill's Garage). If you want to research and design parts, you're going to need an engineering degree (aerospace or mechanical).
