Pulled over for tint. Now what?

Last night I got pulled over for my window tint. I really do not want to get it removed. What do I do? Can I just pay the ticket? but will that be points on my license? or can I get it removed and show proof? idk what to do

We can tell you're kinda new to all this. No points, no court and you have two choices. Remove the tint and have a sheriff write it off, cost will be minimal. Pay the clerk on the date shown on the ticket, not sure what the (lean over) cost is now?

If I pay the clerk do I have to remove the tint as well?

no, but you can be pulled over and given another ticket for the tint.

this isnt double jeopardy...

I work in the LEO field. If you have dark tint expect to get pulled over all the time. Even when we're driving in our gov cars we still get pulled over.

Pulled over for tint. Now what?

It should be a fix it ticket, correct? that's what most officers give out for tints in California, just take the tint off and get a man in blue to sign it off, then get another tint. either way you have to take the tint off or keep getting tickets that gradually get worse
