Man I was going out eat yesterday with my girlfriend. I got rear ended at a red light. Waiting for the adjuster to come out, meanwhile I'll have to drive as is. So sad.

Sad to say, they'll likely total your ride! That's a lot of damage, at least half what your coupe is worth!

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Did you get cited for failure to maintain a safe following distance? Here in Texas if you get rear-ended it 's automatically the other person's fault and if you hit someone in front of you in the process you get screwed as well.

With over 170K on your ride you might have been given a present you didn't expect if they total it and give you a nice payout.

No, I was given no citations. I'm also unsure who will pay for the person I pushed into. She had very little damage though.

Feel like renting a car, but I'll drive her as is until insurance decides to cough up money for a rental.

wow the damage looks almost exactly like mine. i had a person run into the back of my parked car. it was totaled. but you also have more damage than i did. so i would start looking for another car.

I know in california if you get rear ended and you get pushed into someone it going to be your fault. its a safe following distance deal. so good luck with that.

Sorry to see you got hit. I'm glad you are ok. As hard as you were hit, even with a lot of space between you and the next car, that's hard enough to push you pretty damn far.
