Hey guys. My G is becoming a pain in the butt to put gas in. It clicks after like a gallon and the only way I can finish putting gas in is holding the trigger about half way. I pretty much can’t put gas in at QT but Exxon I can it’s just a pain. Any ideas? Also is this harmful to the car? Don’t want to spend money on it right now if it’s just gonna be a nuisance

Theres a service bulletin on this issue. It involves putting your hand into the fuel tank and working by feel. I had the same problem on my car when I first got it. Im not sure if this had anything to do with...but I kept filling up my fuel tank all the way until it overflowed everytime. After a while, my problem just went away. Not sure if my overfilling had anything to do with fixing the issue though.

I found the fastest way to fill up was to not put the gas nozzle inside the tank. Just pull the tip slightly out of the hole and pull the nozzle tip back and press the lever all the way.
