So I have an 04 g sedan with a 6mt that I bought with 147k miles.The car has soo far has been reliable engine wise but I feel like an upcoming tranny problem is on its way.The car is twilight blue with little to no rust witch is surprising from a Midwest car.I love the car and take care of the paint but I don’t enjoy the ride as the suspension is shot.So overall the suspension and bushings need to be changed along with a rack and pinion.anyways I’m 21 yrs old and I’ve been eyeing by dream car for a moment now and I can actually afford it thanks to my current job.All of my friends have been pushing me to buy it as I have little to no responsibilities like no kids etc lol I’m a single guy but anyways I’m debating whether or not to sell the car to put a down payment for my dream car or should I just invest that money to my current car and keep using it?

Yes 2nd gear shift is rough plus my reverse is acting up and sometimes the shifter pops itself back to neutral when I put it on reverse.I was told potentially a bad synchro

Yeah sell the G. If youre not gonna be doing all the required work yourself, that G is gonna be a money pit.
