Hope all is well and hope to get some accurate info on here , I have a 2007 manual g35s sedan . I Was getting a code for intake valve timing solenoid I unplugged both and cleaned them one had some gunk plugged up cleared codes light came back on immediately for same code. I unplugged again and went on to check connecter voltage so had the car running then it eventually cut off and now my car won’t start starter isn’t attempting to do anything did I offset the timing maybe ? Should I have to do a relearn ?
I really don't recommend unplugging stuff from computers while they're on.
Hard to say why it won't start, you're saying the engine won't even crank?
This probably isn't something a relearn will affect, sounds more like maybe you shorted something out and blew a fuse.

I doubt I shorted something by just disconnecting the solenoids .. I didn’t put power to the connector & to answer your question no I am not getting a crank or anything just accessory mode, I tried connecting to the obd for codes says it can’t link or communication error , but the pins for the obd have battery voltage so I don’t think this is a result of me disconnecting those connectors this seems like something else is going on just happened at a bad time lol I have been able to find a fuse box between the battery and the right side fender (ipbm) I believe it’s called so I’m going to do some poking around with that being that my ecm communicates with that and when I can locate the bcm I’ll check communication between there and the other modules as well I’ll keep you updated
Yeah I'd start checking fuses, the positive battery terminal is the fusible link, dozen or so fuses in there. You already found the IPDM behind the battery, and there is also the Fuse Box - J/B in the driver footwell.
Yeah I checked the driver side before anything , I also located the ecm in the passenger side kick panel lifted the carpet a bit and there is a hood amount of moisture I also noticed that water was coming from the cabin area (right above the ecm) so I’m starting think this is where my problem begins and hopefully hasn’t gone to far beyond this point I know the ecm works still or atleast some parts of it because my key fob and all my controls still work so maybe there’s some connectors that have water damage ? I stopped poking around cause it got late but I’ll be back at it today with updates
Ahh yeah, the sunroof drains into the cowl and can fail and dump water into the cabin. At this point you've probably found the culprit, disconnect the battery, disconnect the ECM, put it in a bag of rice to dry it out just like you would with a wet cell phone. I'd also remove the IPDM, take apart it's case and see if it's wet too.
