Lightbulb Is removing dash worth it?

I have a 06 G35 Coupe with some cracking and gashes in the dash that I want to hopefully fix. After looking at all the options, I came to the conclusion that there is only three valid options: dash cover overlay (which looks ugly), filling in the gaps and painting, or flocking it (which seems like the best cost effective option). Unfortunately, I would have to remove the dash in order to properly coat and flock the dash. The dash removal is a bit intensive, so I was even debating if it is even worth it to do it. What do you think? Should I say screw it and leave it or should I try to tackle it?

I filled mine with some rtv. Then bought identical vinyl material and color as my dash. I applied glue over the old dash and then put the new skin over it. It came out looking like OEM. Just dont pull the vinyl tight or else it will eventually try to shrink and expose the edges. My mistake on that one. Still looks better than before though.

@Scorpi0 I assume you had to remove the dash, right?

Nope. Just the AC vent covers and the clock assembly. I used some small plastic scrapers to push the vinyl into the corners.
