Coolant flush

If i drain all my coolant and fill it up with new coolant will it still be necessary to clear air bubbles or will there not be any air bubbles due to coolant filling an emty tank?

Well, it won't be a problem, but he will still need to clear any air bubbles introduced. Follow Cleric's advice to fill slowly (one gallon/minute) to minimize the amount of air, and use a funnel to boot.
