So a buddy of mine and I were having a hypothetical conversation about diff sizes and what size gear ratio you would need, to keep up with a high powered drift car, like a 800 hp car. Can that even be possible with a stock motor not really built up for power? Just a fun little topic to talk about.

 

Probably not with the diff alone. But with the right transmission u can make a crazy amount of power, but your engine will be revving super high all the time. And you will lose a bunch of top end speed.
