I'm looking to buy a G coupe for my wife. What problems should I look for? Do rhe 2012 and newer have the oul galley issue? Any other significant issues?

The 2012 I believe had the 3.7L engine. The galley gasket issue was common in the 2007-2008 3.5L engine. As for these forums being dead, it wasn't always like this. There were as many as 2000+ members on at the same time back in the mid to late 2000's and 2010's. As these cars get older and fewer survive as time goes by, there fewer members on here. The G35 was replaced by the G 37 which was replaced by the Q50 & Q60. The last year for the 3.7L engine was 2015 for the Q50. The year after that they introduced a 3.0L turbo. Infiniti dropped the Q60 coupe and 2024 is the last year for the Q50 sedan. Only SUV's and crossovers are offered for 2025.

 

Damn I didnt know that. Whats the reason behind dropping their coupes and sedans?

 

No one buys them anymore. It's all SUVs and trucks now.
