This hasn't been mentioned before but you can't recirculate the cabin air w/o forcing the ac to kick in.

 

Oh ya, i forgot this. Its a pain. Why can't it be solved? Any idea? Once i cool the cabin, i will prefer a recirculation rather than get it from outside.

 

The fact that I may need a new engine only after 60,000 miles. The engine burns oil like crazy.

 

I still have yet to experience this oil burning... and I have over 3 times the miles you do

 

i hate how small our trunks are on the 1st gen coupes. Drives me insane when i was looking for a subwoofer box to put in lol.

I hate how the window and locks are always goin bad. smh. (my passenger just craped out)

But i love this car too much to get rid of it lol

 

I have 4.7 times the miles he does and I have never had a leak or problem with oil

 

I hate how I have let the exterior condition go to ****. Not horrible, but nothing to be proud about at a car event. Other than that I hate the OEM seats

 

What type of engine do you have? Is an UpRev? This is a known problem with the UpRev engines.

 

my oem navi only powers up when it feels like it and the dealership wants $1200 to send it in lol

 

few minor '05 issues

1) the "normal" snap,crackle, pops from under my car. (my car is a giant rice krispie treat)

2) the nav unit (not only the motor being broken so it only works half the time but youd think touchscreen was available back then aka that **** sucks at life)

3) Seat controls being on the center console side doesn't really bother me...but if something falls out of my pocket...trying to fetch it with the hard plastic there is not an easy task.

4) tiny tiny glove compartment.

5) break dust/break squealing

6) angle of trunk makes it hard to close with hands full

7) fuel consumption burns holes in my monies and kills me a lil on the inside.

8) the thing is a heavy fatty fatty fat fat.

9) sun-glass holder is in a spot where glasses get HOT when its summer.

i think thats it, could be forgetting something but by the end of it all...every day i sit in the drivers seat i feel like a happy lil kid that got what he wanted for Xmas.

 

zenclousres make custom boxes for our cars to it sits nicely in the back not taking up alot of room and its reasonably priced

First thing I noticed on my test drive! sooo annoying. for '07 coupe...the heated seat buttons are in the center console and passengers love to push that button. navi isn't touchscreen. the glovebox is painfully small. on the steering wheel: I accidently click the phone buttons all the time as they are in between the stereo controls.

 

The window down, leading to water dripping issue, lack of trunk space, radio, window and door lock motors, cheap interior, clutch is difficult to engage without any trust of dip, Wish the front end of the car was longer or the back end shorter, the depreciation of the car, every kid now owns it (I liked being the only one ) My passenger seat doesnt auto 'go forward' anymore, wish it was 300 hp stock to the wheels, all the rattles in the car, heated seats dont work THAT well, no aux port, lack of head room (now 6'6 hopefully finished growing), wish I didn't have to possibly sell it


All the things I hate about it the car makes up for + more. I <3 the car!

 

This whole thread sums it up but what I hate the most since I notice it every time I drive is I find the stock suspension is really stiff. I avoid bumps in the roads at all costs.
