I hate that the dash cracks have gotten worse over the 2+yrs that I've owned it. When I bought the G in 2014, there were 3 small cracks that are less than 2" long. Now they've grown and have extended to all the way across the dash. And the car was garaged for the most part and I use a sun shade when parked outside for extended periods.

But overall, it still runs very well considering its 12yrs old now. (not my daily driver which helps)

Since I'm bumping this thread, I might as well update.

I replaced the clutch line with the stainless steel line since there was a small leak leading to the slave cylinder. New fluid and SS line seemed to help, but after a few days and when driving for long periods in the city with lots of traffic and hotter temps in the 80's, the sticking still happens occasionally. I also replaced the clutch master cyclinder maybe a year and a half ago which didn't help.

So that's my other gripe other than the dash cracks. I'll eventually buy the RJM clutch pedal kit sometime this year and see if that finally solves that issue.

61K miles and counting...lmao

SLICK has been covered when out for days in the hot Ca. sun, garaged at night so my biggest PIA is still those drivers side seat belt retractors that haven't worked since she was new...other than that her interior is perfect! She goes into a high quality ($$) body shop Monday morning to repaint her front/rear bumpers, correct the waves in her duck bill trunk lid. All work I had done previously by a less than quality body shop, recommended by a friend!

Oil burning and the fact that I waited too long to buy the oem foam and cover to replace the seat bottom on the drivers side and they are no longer available! Actually, I hate in general that oem replacement parts are becoming scarce or unavailable. I've been slowing stocking up on key parts to keep the oem look.

Oh well, my seats are actually in really good shape. But, I have my eyes on some Sparco seats once I get a few other cosmetic updates done.

My car came with the seats dyed, please don't do that to your car.

Nooooo...not the seats. The carpet. Carpet can be dyed well and easily by an upholstery shop.

Just yesterday I noticed my dash cracks as well. Sad.

You don't buy this car for gas mileage. You buy it for it's looks and performance

if you want gas mileage, get a civic or Prius.

Compared to my previous truck (F150 V8 Supercrew that got 12-13mpg), the G35 not bad at all. I still get 23-25mpg hwy, sometimes more if I hypermile.
