Tranny oil change is probably a bit more than a regular oil change

unless the tranny has a fluid plug, the entire tranny pan has to be dropped. Its a really dirty job if you dont know what your doing. the gasket has to be replaced too. I dunno about 110, but i know it would be atleast $85. After all, thats why I call it the Stealership....

It's a 6MT, so there's no pan. It will have a plug to drain and a plug to fill. That is rather steep for less than an hours work.

If you DIY, which is what many would be tempted to do, be sure to have the exact right oil for your transmission.

There are many many cars with MT's that have never had a gearbox oil change. Is there some reason that it is being recommended to do this service?

Hahahahaha...... They're definitely trying to shaft you, mate....if you don't want to do it yourself, go elsewhere.....

There's about 2 quarts of oil in there and should take about 15 minutes to change.

Changing the tranny oil is as easy, if not easier than changing the engine oil.
