i jsut hit 1200 miles on the odo, i hear some people on the boards get their oil changed now. what are your opinions on this??? shoudl i change any other fluids or ask themto do anythign esle while they do this?

anyone have any experience wtih infiniti Tustin in so-cal? prob where ill go

i did it, i was in the same boat as you. Do it, it can't hurt. I noticed the oil to be pretty dirty when i drained it, so I'd say it was a good move. You only get one shot at break in, may as well stay on the safe side...

 

I just did my 3 month, 2600 km oil change...good idea, but I probably won't do another one now for 6 months...

Sh*t. i got 3000 miles on and i still havn't gone in to change the oil. am i screwed????

 

I did my first change at 1,200.00 mi., & my 2nd at 3,500.00 mi. I will now do It every 3.5K mi. I also use BG oil additive at every oil change.

 

I did mine with M1 at 3K

 

I would change it when you get then chance and again at 3,000. The oil test reports have shown there is clear reasons to change before the 3,000 mark with your first change.

 

Did my first change at 1600 miles.

 

First at 1500 mi...then 5k, 10K, 15K. All changes with Castyrol Syntec 0W -30 (German) and K&N Gold filtration. The 3.5 is nearly dead silent at idle and like silk under load. Couldn't ask for more!

 

Any particular reason you decided to go with 0W-30 ?
