6MT heel and toe vs 05+ 5AT manualmatic
I have tried heel and toe couple of times last few days .... how in the hell do you guys accomplish this in the G ? every time I try ... the brake pedal is way above the gas for me to hit it with my heel. I have seen many racing videos and most all drivers do this ... so there must be a reason.
In the G35, I don't really do 'heel and toe' per say, it's more like heel on the floor, left toe on the brake and right side of the foot on the gas. Works better that way for me. Try to brake with only the big toe and the left side of your foot and the right side will naturally fall on the gas pedal.

Yeah I know, the reason I posted was because I wanted to find out if I was the only one that sucks at heel and toe.

Is the purpose just to attempt to keep speed through a turn? Don't the tires and such have more to do with that than messing with the brakes/clutch? I guess I'm still at a loss as to what benefit this can provide. I'm intrigued.
As much as I've tried, I can't heel/toe for the life of me. I think my feet aren't wide enough. I can sort of manage in my work shoes, since they are stiffer. But on the track, I'm always wearing sneakers and they are just too damn flexible. My foot slips right off in between the two pedals.
