Warning Light Came On, Not sure what it is

I cannot find my manual and this mornign on my way to work, just above the temp guage, left hand side, a little light came on and made a loud beeping. Its a circle with an exclamation mark in it? Any idea what it is?

It's your tire pressure monitoring system. If you search recent posts you'll see that it's a bit of an epidemic lately with the cooler weather.

If you checked your tire pressure when the tires were warm, your pressure may not be fine. You have to check the tire pressure when the tires have not been driven on for several hours.

Your tires must be quite low for the warning to come on. Usually it doesn't come on until the pressure reaches about 28 psi.
Keep tabs on the pressures now that the cold weather has arrived. Maintain 35.

I used to keep ~36. But I discovered that the center of the tires was wearing faster than the edges. So now I'm down around 33-34. It will take a while to see if that helps.

is there any i can take off the tire pressure warning light. because i had the tire pressure light on before i swapt my volks on, i figured it would go away when i put up my new rims, but its been 1000 miles and the lights still there. is there anyway i can just take it off - i know with aftermarket rims the tire pressure sensor won't work, but this thing wont shut off!
