I am looking for some encouragement. I have had my G in repeatedly for little problems. Windows wont go up or down, Door handle was broken, etc. The last time I was in there was a big argument over whether they should fix something or not under warranty. The whole aftermarket part broke the part argument. They paid for it but weren't happy, i.e. the service manager was bitchy and the GM was too after I got him involved. Now I want to get the TSB window streak fix done to my car but I am sick of this dealership and don't want to deal with the "Oh brother its that guy again". There are no other Infiniti dealers in town. What should I do?

 

It would appear that your stuck between a rock and a hard place. You must either patch things up with the existing dealer, or go elsewhere to find a more mod friendly one.

I wish there was another dealership closer than 90 miles away. I don't know how to patch things up since I won't be buying a new car anytime soon and refuse to pay their outragous prices for service. I imagine I will just have to be as calm and cool as I can and force them to do the work.

 

For the most part, you should be ok. If there's anything you think they'll hassle you about, you'd be best to make that 90 mile trip.

it happened to me as well but i can careless.
only thing that i care is getting my car fixed right.

 

just go back... and like u said, "keep it cool." if your not satisfied with the work they're performing get infiniti customer service involved. when i lived in london, ontario and had my vette i had a lot of problems with that sucker and could only take it to 1 dealer, as they were the only authorized vette dealer in town. i had nothing but problems with them. i even got gm canada involved. they hated me and i cringed everytime i went... but i needed to get my car fixed and i could care less how they felt. just keep after them. it's their JOB to fix your car.

 

the window streak is a TSB? dang i need to send my car back there to get that checked.
