Mostly goodby to my car

I just sold my 04 this last weekend. 3 weeks shy of 12 years, 114600 miles.

I had bought my replacement car (another brand) a year ago, but still drove it on occasion when I wanted a sportier car.

I'll still be able to see it. I sold it to a long time friend, so when I visit, I'll be able to see it

You poor soul. You long for your car back.

Just mostly cosmetic issues. But 12 years is a long time for me to have 1 car, and I wanted something different. So I'm with a more "practical" form factor now.

Other than the technology, I liked the clean looks of the 04 better than the later refreshes.

I'm with you there. Everytime I see a stock, clean 03-04 sedan, I love it.

Clean OEM rims, clean paint, shiny clear headlights. All it takes to turn my head.

A XDrive28d X3. More room, all wheel drive, and a niche that Infiniti doesn't quite fill.

It's tough for me to buy anything other than a Nissan. Trust me, I really wanted to buy the Titan before I got my Silverado, but the crappy rear end the Titan used was enough to turn me away.

BMW makes nice stuff, but I don't know. I really wanted a Diesel truck, but didn't want a 2500/3500 and now that Nissan is releasing their Titan XD, I'll almost for sure be selling the Silverado for that. Diesel is awesome, but I would've personally probably still settled for an FX or something. That's just me.

Still a nice ride though. Congrats.
