omg, my 6mt has been h4x0red.... or has it?
ok, second time this has happened what the heck is going on?!
a few months back, i parked my g at work and went in for the day. i came out after work and both my windows were completely down (doors still locked). i don't recall if the sunroof was opened. i do know for certain the windows were not down when i went in to work, for two reasons:
1st) i simply remember keeping the windows up, the care was new and i was paranoid of it getting messed up;
2nd) (this one is the mind blower) we had a good rain storm that day during lunch and everything in the car was dry (even some papers).
somehow the windows were rolled down, and not by me. don't even ask. the windows were 100% up when i went in, and down when i came out.
fast forward several months to today. i went in to work in the morning (parked in different spot than previous time). i came out and the sunroof/moonroof is opened, not the full way, but rather the tilt portion is up. i know again with 100% certainty this was not the case as i parked to go in for the morning. why? because it was soo warm in the car this morning i had to turn the heat down. its 10 degrees here (and colder in the morning)! tonite coming home i couldn't immediately figure out why it was so cold, till i looked up and noticed the sunroof tilt was open.
what the heck is going on?
can the remote somehow automagically control the windows?
i work with a lot of (smart) jokers, could they be responsible, if so how?
i know the key can operate the windows, but the sunroof?
my keys are always in my front pocket. -- nothing was ever taken (cds, digital camera).

I'm not kidding when I tell you guys this...
I have one of those remote control fart machines from Spencer Gifts with its own handheld remote. I had it set up in the bathroom one night a few weeks ago to scare the wife. It did the trick. I got sidetracked that evening and I left it in there.
The next morning I'm in my kitchen, walking out the door. I hit the garage door remote. The door begins to open. I click my UNLOCK on my coupe's key fob. THE FART MACHINE WENT OFF. Scared the hell outta me LOL!
Turns out that both are on the same exact frequency.
So what I'm getting at is that there is a VERY slim chance that your car is on the same FQ as something else in the area.
So i'm thinking of securing the fart machine to the rear underside of my coupe so it goes off when I lock/unlock the doors. What do you guys think?

Okay, so I reread my manual and yes, holding down the unlock button will roll down the windows. But not the moonroof.....
