Just seeing if there's any of you guys up in Salt Lake City, since i'll be moving up there next month. Curious if there's 1/4 drags, good shops, dynos, etc. in the area. Thanks

 

I don't have a g35 but I live in salt lake city ut. Tuning up I feel isn't really that great. You'd be better off driving down to vegas or cali to do that.

 

Welcome to Salt Lake City. What town are you moving to? There is not much going on up here when it comes to performance shops, But there are a few places that know what they are doing. You will love the roads here, but will hate the drivers. PM me when you get here and we will hook up. Pasta

 

I live in Utah too, 30 miles north of SLC.

Drags: Rock Mountain Raceway. $20 to register, and $25 for each event. I think. I haven't been yet, but I would like to go in the spring.

There are not very many G's here either, mostly sedans and a few coupes. I have only seen 5-10 different coupes in the last year. There may be more in SLC, but I don't get there too often, maybe a Jazz game or the Infiniti Dealership, since it is the only one in the state.

I don't know of any shops for performance. If you find a good shop let me know. This reason has steered me away from F/I.

I would be nice to meet people that have the same interest in cars. Everyone I know thinks I am crazy. I think I hear why didn't you buy and Evo or an STI on a weekly basis.

 

sweet, i'm def looking forward to the roads, cause houston literally is the absolute worst i've ever driven on. Coming from NJ, than school in MD, than to here in houston, now soon to SLC. I'll def head to teh drag/track to go head to head with those pesky sti's and evos. I'm sure if anyone of u r in the slc area at any time, i should be pretty easy to spot i guess. haha

 

I didn't know there were any G35 enthusiasts here in Utah, thought everyone other than me was gravitating towards the Z. With a half dozen or so of us, we need to set up a meet. Post what days are good for you and we can go from there if everyone wants to meet. I need a couple more weeks before my car is up and running again. Installing the latest mods from christmas.

Lets put something together. This city is full of 350Zs and I find them just great.
