Well the time has come for me to get a new car within the next several months. Currently I'm driving a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. It's been a good little car after the ****-ton of warranty work we went through but still. Since July of 2002 I have put 124,000 miles on this car and its definitely showing. I just scored and awesome job as an IT Consultant in Los Angeles and now am looking heavily into getting a G35. It seems to be my perfect balance between luxory and sport. I'm looking into either a 2004 or 2005 coupe. 6 Speed with Navigation. There are some amazing deals on auto trader.

My question to you folks is: Is there anything I should worry about or avoid when looking at G35's? I know with my SE-R, the 02's had a ****load of transmission problems and oil consumption issues. I know these are two totally seperate platforms of cars, but Infiniti and Nissan are basically the same company and I am just wondering if there were any huge issues to keep my eye out for.
