that has been discussed before. and someone check the curcuit board and the buttons dont match up to the new casing if i recall. ill look for the thread tomorrow, and post just for ref info.

 

I agree it would be nice, but... if you search key fob,
you'll see this has been thrashed arround several times.

In some of the old threads there are pics & measurements of both styles,
c/w cct board info as well.

You drive a Nissan, why are you surprised it is the same fob as every other Nissan?

I personally could care less who makes my car. I love it for what it is, and see no reason to proove that it is an "Infiniti". Big deal.

 

at least the key is different..... and you also get 2 Infiniti logo key chain knick knacks (or whatever it's called).... it would have been nice to have the intelligent key fob case as a standard for infiniti...but i got the car for what it was and not for the misc. accessories it should have....

reading through the thread RST531 posted, it doesn't seem this will work. Unless you re-wired the buttons. All the pictures you need are in that thread.

I guess the only way to get it is, new keyless entry brain and remote.

 

Isn't the new one logo'd? If so just steal that casing or shell.

 

Have you guys seen an acura fob? I dunno if its the same fob as a honda, but its pretty crappy looking. My friend just got an 06 mdx and its fob looks pretty goofy.
