1) i dont think anyone tried to claim G35's to be the fastest thing on earth
2) STi's are not luxurious whatsoever compared with the G35 and the M3 or the S4, which was the main point, it doesn't make them crappy cars, it's just not strong in the lux department whatsoever
3) STi is not a celebrity car, and it never will be unless you are in the rally circuit and are a professional driver for Subaru on real offroad courses, grow up kid
4) someone said they see more STi's than G35's and S4's combined... completely agree on that one, STi's like a souped up civic, really, in terms of quality
5) i respect the STi and it's damn quick if that is what you are looking for in the mid-price range, but for those that are out of high school and want to have some more style and luxury, the G35 is not a bad choice... and yes going from G35 to STi *is* downgrading overall
6) lol "boy racer car" pretty much explains it all
oh and finally... someone said price is a big deal.. and i agree.. It's not a conspiracy we have cheap cars and we have expensive cars and everything in between. Majority of the price is determined by the the quality of the interior and the exterior and overall parts and design. I can strap a jet engine on a skateboard and tell you it's faster than a ferarri all day long but i'd just look like this 15 year old
