Early Model G owners

Check your headlamps.

It seems like a lot of our headlights are cracked due to extreme heat. This should be an issue that we'd need to address to Infiniti since we have a lot of people experiencing the same problem. I'm going to get mine replaced just like the others.

does anybody have any pictures of the cracked headlights to see what you are talking about?

Hmm... only thing I notice with mine is that they are fogged for some weird *** reason. Makes me sad, not sure what to do about it though. Open them up and clean them? Order 06 headlights... now I'll have to look for a crack on there too I guess.

I have a 03, and i noticed that both of mine are cracked!! I'll try to post some pictures tomarrow. I'll also contact infiniti and see what they are willing to do about it. I only have 31k miles on it. Thanks for pointing this out to us ATL Red G35

they fog because there is a crack in your headlights.. it sucks, happened to my old car...

I have the same thing, but no visible cracks...

The crack in the attached link is in the internal bezel. Will not cause fogging. Crack to the outside could though.

anyway there are vent holes in the housing... it is meant to condensate a little

Just took some plastic polish to my lense and the fog that appeared to be inside came right off. For the $6 i spent it might be something to look into.
