FAQ Thread: Things I would have done differently...
In talking with the group at Sunken Meadow and knowing alot of you guys have already gone down the mod road and back I figured a thread dealing with things that you found were most benificial to improving the power or looks of your car, Z or G can be posted up in here..
As of right now there isn't any mod I have regret about.
All mods need $$$ some more than others.
I wanted to drop my car in doing that i also need a camber kit no biggie.
Thats one example.
Another would be my Seibon TS CF Hood I love the hood but I want to get it painted eventually thats more $$$. That is one of the reason why i was selling it a few months ago didn't have the $$$ to get it painted but oh well.
It's all about $$$$ and research

Very true but just listening in everyone had different stories on steps they could have avoided if they did do a little bit more research so anything and everything is welcome in here..
I refuse to buy one part for my ride maybe for another year or so. Then its eitehr twin or single turbo and all the craziness that is associated with that..

i would say plan your ride out from the day you buy it..I regret Getting Dg because to me it looks too green Also all my mods on my car i like but if i knew what i wanted from the begining i would of done it in steps..This time i just ordered **** randomly and installed it at diff points and One thing you should Learn is never go the cheap ROUTE ever it will cost you in the end..
Next time around im going to know what i want my car to look like before i even buy it... Its the peace of mind you get when you know how its going to look or sound or feel, that you dont when you randomly bolt **** on your car.
DOnt get me wrong my car is beautiful and i get alot of compliments on it, BUt its mostly the color that i hate.

Lowering the car with tein coilovers. A camber kit was NOT needed. Running 19's with no rubbing. That and my data system lip made the car look perfect. Those were the best mods I added to the car.
Now for some words of wisdom. Don't waste your time with NA mods. If you want the car to go faster supercharge or turbocharge the car. The NA mods do almost nothing and are a large waste of money. Dyno proved that for me with my old car. Save for forced induction and you'll be much happier in the end.

I should have done everything at once. Body, paint, TTs, Internals (lower and upper end) and everything else, so I wouldn't be up late all week trying to get the car ready for the 24th. I hope you guy enjoy it!

with the exception that a JWT intake and an exhaust system...will make the car sound MEANer than stock may not put out big numbers on a dyno but the price for the audio to me is worth it
not super expensive and make the G sound NASTY!
