Transmission - Take THREE!

Well, after having my tranny replaced earlier this year by Competition Infiniti, its blown again. I have a 2003 6 speed, where if you shift from any gear into 6th, the tranny will grind.

I'm guessing that they never really replaced it the first time, that they may have swapped out a part and TOLD me they replaced it, but whatever it is, I'm pretty pissed.

Does anyone know what could be causing this, assuming they actually did replace it the first time?

PS. There's no way you can burn out synchros in 9 months, so don't even assume for a minute that its from my driving!

I get the feeling that they didnt really replace it. Maybe they tried to refurbish it and tried to pass it off like new?

I already brought it back, they "diagnosed it" (that means they realized that their fraud was caught) and now they're "replacing it" again.

If it doesn't look, smell and shift like new, I'm going to open a special file for them in my office and let loose the hounds of hell on their books. This is after they forgot to reassemble my aero kit/package pieces when they "mistakenly" removed them for a fuel line recall.

To say the least....I'm UPSET.

I met with DA Mayor aka Kenny on friday at the dealership...cool person!

Service has my baby now...fixing shot window motor, fuel line recall, some weird intermitting click when I brake at low speeds, and some grease coming out of my rack & pinion assembly....

I'll let ya know how it turns out Greg...I must say I got the loaner with no B.S. and picked up at 9AM.

G35X...and I must give the sedan props....nice ride, holds the road, and quiet on the road with windows up...very nice pick up also...good handling...not as firm coupe so the ride is firm enough but not stiff...feels secure.

And I havent beat on it Kenny....LOL

Put a mark on the tranny. Or spray paint a mark somehere on it. If you see that mark/paint on it when you get it back..................
