Kyle I will be contacting you...of course we will do things right and go over it in the GSC before we make a move ...

Just so everyone knows...this is a nice BOOSTER for the club for some and its good to see the spirit of people uplift with this trophy win...

NOT TRYING TO PUT OUT THE FIRE BUT
you know all in all on a grounded down to earth realistic level- spending a bulk of money that will need a source of more than just 5 or 6 members willing to pay for them and getting at least a somewhat quality T that will last past the first 2 washes is a concern..like Kyle said - "we have to do it right" and organized. Being under one name has kept this club alive and wether people know it or not G-SQUAD has been through its very fair share of Drama, Haters, Fakers, show off's, imposters trying to fiend for sponsor discounts, people "yellin" the name but never showin to meets, etc etc...........representation is a major part but the other half of the major part of being a G-SQUAD member requirement is DEDICATION.......and we dont need to call out names of who those people are that have gone the long haul....

G-SQUAD is not just some NEW Car club ...We have been doing this for 2 and a half years straight. G-SQUAD started this whole G35 car club thing. We can say that - cause its true.... & we have gained and lost MANY Squad members for one reason or another...yet the numbers of how many G's roll when the name "G-SQUAD" calls has NEVER dropped...dispite that some used to think at one time or another it would have been the end of G-Squad....DEDICATION is what never let this club die and I for one wont let it just fizzle out or be overrun with BS or disorganization and the fact that we have members long running that feel the same way is what keeps the Squad what it is... and doing it all under one name is what kept this Club alive, as a fam and doing what it does.
Not to take anything away from the new members at all...because its their enthusiasm that keeps G-Squad rolling as well...and keeping the club fresh so dont get the wrong idea...New members always get props from G-Squad

but just some food for thought...
So the question is not how fast we can get shirts made so peeps can rock them.....but to ask yourself : Will you be around next summer still rocking that shirt? or Will you be around if the shirt isnt made untill next spring?....THE GSC is going to get this going no doubt because it is very much something we should do.....
but I can honestly say if we would have done this a year ago ....only maybe 5 of those shirts would still be at the meets today...I'm not tryin to kill the fire ...I'm just layin out the truth

True words spoken Vance...each persons life situations can change anyday. You could be rollin in a G one day, then the next takin the bus home. Well hopefully not that extreme of a case lol! I for one am a new member to the squad. But I'm trying to show my dedication and love for the club by making my face more present with each meet. I think most of the older members recognize my face by now, me smoking cigs like a madman and all haha. But yea I hear what you are saying about the whole money issue and the actual member issue. I wish we could have only ordered shirts in bulk of 10 or 20, something like that and still have the production cost cheap. I don't know exactly what each shirt is going to cost per person in the 10 or 20 bulk amount but I don't think it be more than paying for a shirt you would buy at a store. Say $20 bucks per t-shirt and like $40-50 for a hoody? Around the price range maybe? Like I would def be willing to contribute money to the swag cause too if we just needed to buy a whole bulk order and deal with it, as opposed to ordering an amount thats smaller that we can sell quickly. If we could even get enough members to suck it up and contribute a few bucks we could prob even get a large bulk order and only pay like the $20-40 a person. That way we could have alot of extra shirts lying around for future members who will be joining and wanna buy some swag. I bought my car instead of leasing it so I intend to keep my '06 around for a few years. With each passing year the car will be more more shinier and faster hehe. So I guess lets see a list of how many squad members are willing to throw down SERIOUSLY for some swag?

Little UPDATE for ya guys! I just talked to a friend of mine who had ordered bulk custom t-shirts for our school at Hofstra a few months back. Now I own two of these shirts and a sweatshirt and these are really nice professionally printed shirts. The one I have has a logo over the left front breast, a big logo which is on the whole back, and a small logo on the right upper-arm cuff. I paid 15 for the t-shirt and 25 for the hoody. She told me she had paid about $6/7 for a shirt and $15ish for the hoodys at wholesale. (She marked it up for profit of course to fund our school's cause) She said she had them made in little as a weeks time at a local place on Long Island that also does business, frat/sorority lettering, sports team custom shirts. I'm gonna try and ask her in detail to find out how much the price is affected by quantity ordered, etc etc. I'll keep ya posted with it. But if we can get a similar price to that, I don't think we'd have a problem at all sellin the swag to members old and new!
