First off I wanna give a big big up to the GSQUAD! Yeaaaa! We all def deserved to win that trophy, cause nobody rolled in with nearly as many cars lined up like we did! Shouts to Gio for puttin this thing together and makin sure we all got there and back safely and having fun. (also a personal thank you for lettin me sit in your heat blasting car when i was whining about the cold =]) But yea the reason I'm posting this thread is because of......SWAG. How is it that when the GSQUAD...deepest club there...had no recognition anywhere. There was Bad Influence, High Intentionz reppin the hardest and overpowering everyone with their annoying chants and screams. And they all had sweaters or shirts with their crew logos! I wanna know if we can try and get some gear made up for our crew!? I wanna be able to let people know either at shows or on the streets that the GSQUAD is one of the deepest clubs around! The next time we go to shows I want people to notice the 30+ cars and people there reppin the GSQUAD shirts or hoodies. That way when we win deepest club award next year it won't be a suprise to people. Cause they will have seen us all over the event with our crew swag. When we won everyone there was shocked haha, cause we didn't really make a scene like the other clubs did. But c'mon squad board members, It wouldn't even cost that much to get some nice shirts or hoodies made! They'd even come in handy for the upcoming cold weather on the east coast! If that seems like too much then could we do some iron-on logo stuff then? You could keep the costs down by just buying a nice finished iron on logo, then goin to a place like Champs or Foot Locker and get those 2 solid color t-shirts for $20 deal. Bam! Ya got two GSQUAD shirts ya could wear to events in the future! So come I think we can all afford to step it up a bit and really rep the club! Whose with me?

word!! that sounds like a good idea i love being apart of tha g squad when we won last nite it was a real good feeling especially when everyone else wanted us to lose i would love to drive somewhere and hop out tha coupe in a fresh g squad hoodie that would be hot lets get some ideas together and what not ill throw in some money or whatever to get this thing poppin

 

That's funny - the wife was saying the same thing while we were standing around down there. She wanted a hoody! A friend of mine is a screen printer - I can get some estimates if needed.

 

See thats what im talkin about man! We got so many members who are enthusiastic and happy to be a part of the squad! Thats why we need to rep it hard next time (and stay warmer heh) and let everyone else know that we show up in force! I'm sure we all have a ton of great ideas of different logos or text we can put on the shirts/hoodies. I def wanna have the main logo of the GSQUAD on either front or back though. And it could be with the NY, NJ, or PA SQUAD logo so people know which squad state you are comin from! In terms of a cool squad motto or text I can leave that up to a lot of thoughts thrown in. Or maybe we can have each shirt/hoody customized with our name on it too?.....the possibilities are endless!

Hoodies and T-shirts ...well we have had the idea flowing for a while....but funds was always an issue...T-Shirts and hoodies are not cheap and have to be ordered in bulk...we didnt have a hookup...but if everyone wants them we should all bump heads and see what we can do..

Yea man that would be hot! If ya could get a high quality picture from Vance or whoever maintains the GSQUAD website then we could have that printed onto shirts. I don't mind throwing down some bucks to rep the squad man. I'd be wearing that shirt all day every day when im cruisin in the coupe! haha But yea i know money issues are a b*tch to deal with when we all got our own life expenses to handle. Thats why I suggested the iron-on logo idea too so we could keep the production cost down and put the logo on whatever we want. Essentially just paying for the iron on, then we each would go out and buy the shirt or hoody we wanna put it on. Just as long as the iron-on logos arent the cheapo kinds ya know? But besides the logo of course I'd wanna have a cool tag or motto line to go with it. Something we all represent and believe in for the club guys. What that is I don't know as Im still a relatively new member to the squad. But the OG's of the club and the usual hardcore members im sure know of something they always say that goes with every meet. I'm just tryin to get some recognition for the club goin and to get more people amped about being a part of a G family! Nothin makes me prouder than lettin people know im a part of a brotherhood of G35's that come harder than any crew they are a part of. Not only do we have people of all different races and backgrounds, but also every one of us is filled with info about the car that we each may not know about. We are always lookin out for each other and I have yet to experience any members hatin on one another. We're a family that comes from all over the east coast, which like no other club does. Everyone is always tryin to rep a borough of the city or a single place. Instead we break the cycle and unite everyone for the common love of one car. Not just a whole bunch of ricers thrown together with some crap paint jobs and lambo door conversions haha! We gotta start lettin people know that theres ONE huge club around here for the G35s. If you aint a part of the squad already...you'd wanna join! It be awesome to go somewhere and see someone wearing the shirt. Even if you don't know them it would give ya reason to say what up to a fellow squad member. I know there are a lot of LI squad members like myself, but I only met a handful of them. It be chill to know them all on a personal level. Where it wouldn't be just meets that bring us together, but just chillin on friday night or whatever. So lets think of something soon before that winter hits and we all cooped up in the houses haha. Yea I gotta stop goin on G35DRIVER.com all the time and go back to work. I'm gonna get my a** fired haha. Typing up novels over here! But c'mon...i'm just dedicated man!

I can get the food products, paper supplies, etc from Sysco at wholesale if this ever goes down.

 

Exactly Vance - like I said I have a friend who does this and I can get some quotes - but if you're going to do it - you have to do it right! It is costly and better to order in bulk. If you go the cheap way out they will fall apart. It is best to get quality from a screen printer so they will last!! If you want some quotes I need a logo to show her!!!
