Here is an article from Edmunds. Its not nearly as sexy as the concept! I'll reserve judgement on it until i see it in person because the 07 sedan looked much better in person.

I'm going to see it next week at a infiniti managers meeting and give everyone my 0.02 cents on it. its more about the hidden performance and exterior can always be modded very easily

I'll say 330 hp is better than the 280/298 horsepower but 270 torque?? That throws me off completely. Its also noted in a couple of the articles I've read so far in the 2008 forum, so I m on the fence as far performance enhancements. Either way I can't say shiet about it cuz I haven't drove it yet and lets face it I'd probably use that extra horsepower the least anyway.lol
I know as soon as I smell that new car scent...its over for me dammit..until I see the price however and the new car scent doesn't smell soo good anymore.

base price of the new coupe will be 35k im not sure if thats the sport model or the base but its in that ball park...the torque is dissappointing but once u see one on the road and after a few months see what the aftermarket world is going to be up to trust you will want one i like it already im not picky alot of people want their cake and to eat it too give the car a chance first we're just seeing numbers on paper and photos there is nothing like the real thing ill be at that car show too to get an up close look but i will like it either way change is good sometimes...dont worry fellas it will grow on yo u just give it some time also in a new article in the nissan sports mag they say final hp should be in excess of 330hp so you never kno i trust infiniti will do something that will satisfy everyone in the near future with a turbo version or a stronger v8 or something IMO

Rory whats up kid..
Point well taken.
For me I m gonna watch the resale values on the 1st gen coupes as well as see how much I feel the 2nd gen coupe. At the end of the day my gut feelin is the 1st gen is gonna be a classic shape which is why I'd wanna keep it. I mean 4 years later..the car is still hot. Once you get a 2nd gen, then you get a 3rd gen then another sports car comes out and its all over..but the 1st always remains classic. I've been following some of the older Z's and the prices for clean ones are ridiculous over 10 years later. So I dunno we'll see for me. On the other hand Rory..looks like you got your mind made up kid..
