First off, I'm going to welcome any of the new guys who've been lurking over the winter. We have a great crew of guys and girls from NY, CT, NJ, PA and elsewhere. We look forward to meeting you and having you join the ranks of our membership. And like American Express, membership does have its priveleges! Now here comes my odious task of talking to the disruptors around here...

If you don't like us and what we do, (I can't imagine why someone wouldn't like food, friends, cruising and raffles) DO NOT POST IN OUR FORUM.

That means:
1) Don't post ads contrary to our own sponsors. They're our sponsors because they are GOOD. They do good work and we vouch by their work.

2) Don't post threads about your own meets without contacting the steering committee first. We're always looking for new ideas, but we've been doing this long enough to know where we can help make meets better and what NOT to do.

3) Don't jump on threads and start abusing our members. This is OUR forum and our area for the site. If you want to trash a member or our club, take it up with the site administrators and owners. We'll address any legitimate concerns about our operating and how we conduct ourselves.

4) PLAY NICE with us and we'll play nice with you.

Now, conversely, I'm putting out the call for what we WANT you to do:

1) Come to our meets and enjoy yourselves. No one is prohibited from joining us and having a good time. BUT, if you come to a meet and start trouble, you will be asked to leave. We always talk to the Parks Departments, they know we're coming and if you cause a problem, you'll likely be asked to leave our meeting area and possibly the park. In case you didn't know, we're very very law enforcement friendly.

2) PLEASE contact us with any meet ideas. This includes meet locations, other clubs you'd like to meet with, special events that are occuring and just about anything else exciting that you'd like to see happen.

3) Welcome all of the new guys! This isn't about rivalry, its about comradery! So if you've bought every pimped out part you can put on the car and someone gets the next best thing once that comes out....don't be a hata! (Never been a problem, but with the new '08 cars coming out, we don't need any of that "the older car is nicer" crap to new car owners.)

4) Bring your families and enjoy the environments we create at our meets! They are kid friendly, just so long as your kids stay quiet, sit in your car and don't make any sounds. (Just kidding!) The only thing we ask is that the kids don't damage any cars.

5) Finally, I'm asking everyone to just get along. There's no need for **** and vinegar on the G Squad forum. We have always strived to get along with anyone who shows up, no matter what difference of opinions there are. If you don't like how we operate, then stay off our board, don't join our meets and utilize the East Coast Forum for whatever you want to do. If you join or start another G35 car club, please feel free to invite us to your meets and we'll absolutely reciprocate. There's no competition here folks.

And with all of that said....ENJOY THE 2007 G SQUAD SEASON!!!
