**Speeding Ticket Update**
DISMISSED SUCKAS
I got a speeding ticket back in Nov 05' a month after I got my DG...It was a 80 in a 50 on my way to work..Now for anyone who knows me..speeding and me usually arent in the same sentence. However the car was new and the ratttles weren't existent yet, so it was pretty smooth..I didn't realize I was goin that fast.
So I've been postponing the ticket ever since and finally had no choice but to go to court yesterday @ 8:30 AM. The judge called me up 2nd and says "lucky day kid, the officer who wrote the ticket is no longer with the force---dismissed"...
Thats the best news I've ever got in court.
Hey Hector...who needs a lawyer now lol j/k.

Just make sure you dont forget your date...Did that with one ticket and they find you automatically guilty.

you are brave to go in without a lawyer.
someone told me that it's pretty easy to get a ticket dismissed. he said that you should interogate the officer by asking him if he remembered if that day was sunny, rainy, and whatever else to discredit him. I don't believe him though. lol.

I'm not sure if getting one dismissed is easy. It all depends on the mood the judge is in, the notes the cop has, the relationship the cop has with the judge, your license, etc..
I could see them breaking it down to a lesser charge or dropping some points off with a fine but dismissing might be rough.
