G37's just cruisin?

just putting it out there...and not that i condone speeding or whatevr but lets be real...ok the cars are quick

I have seen more than a few G37's out there and maybe they are sill breakin them in...but I have yet to see any G37's really "doin it" on the highway ...queens and LI....

the drivers always seem to be just layin back in them ...on a cruise kind of stuff

I have seen 350z's , G35's ...really zipping around..(and not just at our meet drives and stuff) but just on the road.

could be just breakin um in still --i dont know...but I'm curious to see what the difference is with the actual street power vs a G35...you know

I mean I dont care what the specs say--i wanna see whats really up wit them.

from a guy who owned one and now owns the other, the butt dyno tells me that there is a signifcant difference. i only have 820 on the odo. and still in break-in like you said, but even up to 4k, the pull is stronger than the 35.

I was at an intersection on Queens Blvd making a right and a black g37 was making the left from the opposite side...I took off a little bit because I was trying to troubleshoot something..he makes the turn after me and attempts to race me..I look over, slow down and make a u turn. According to what I've heard/read their strongest point is from 50-90 or something like that.

Vance you are right I have not seen any G37 really get on it yet and by me there is about 10 G37's but maybe they are just breaking them in. As for power I'm sure it's probably faster but like Vin says it could be from a rolling start.

From most of the posts on myG37 most people say they have alot of top end power. Even 335i drivers havevouched(during a race) that they left G37's off the line but they seem to creep closer at top speeds.

Thats definitely nice but I mean I'd like the power off the line as well...270lbs of torque is really disappointing. The G35 has a decent acceleration but after 80-90 its not doing it anymore.

Saw a red G37 on woodhaven this morning really having a good time with the car..basically dippin in and out..exhaust note sounded great..I enjoyed all of that until he came to a complete stop turn into a carwash and nearly got rear-ended..a$$hole.

I guess his break-in was complete
