I have heard enough of this non-sense from non G-Squad members. The members know who they are. When non-members become active members - we will start paying attention to your comments and suggestions. Until you meet the 2 meet minimum to become a member - please refrain from your comments and suggestions. Please hold your thoughts for the upcoming 1st official "club' meeting. That would be cool if i can add that to "my pictures folder" b/c I use that as my screensaver at work. It is so nice to come back to my PC seeing the awesome pics from the Jersey Shore Meet! It would be even nicer to have that pop up too!

 

Yea youre absolutely right NYCG35. I mentioned though that Tsolins first few and that last one that looked similar to the first 3 are the ones I love. I humbly admit I can not do any better than what Tsolin came up with. I would definitely stick one of those on my ride.

Hey Joel I have to disagree with you , it's the non-members you guys want to collect in to the G-Squad and your gonna deny them the right to be heard cause they aren't G-Squad yet. How else would they be involved in the uprising of the squad if we can't state our input , we want to be G-Squad our comments and suggestions should matter just like the members , sure the members would have a right to vote on it leaving the non-members out , that's cool We aren't members yet we shouldn't decide for the Squad but taking away our suggestions and comments shouldn't be the case , if you disagree that's fine but that's just my input on it

well I see your point about non members keeping their ideas to themselves so as not to confuse everyone else thats actually in the squad... but last i checked this was the NorthEast Forum and not the G-Squad forum so, expecting non members to not give input is really impossible...

I just made up those mock ups because i'm bored... if you don't like them or want them then thats fine, you don't have to use them or even acknowledge they exist. I suggest if you want to have real squad only discussions, you should probably put up your own forum because if you post it here, you can't control who posts.

i understand i'm not in G squad and i don't even have my G yet lol but i just wanted to post some contributions since i know my way around photoshop a little. And i mean you can't really expect people to not give their opinion on something... especially on the internet lol thats like me expecting my G to arrive tomorrow hehehe

with that said, i really have no more ideas to contribute anyway so don't worry about more posts from me on logos. and really what's the big deal about posting more opinions?

I like em! And I am the G Sqwuad PHYSICAL ENFORCER!! So if anyone has a beef, bring it my way so I can cut it up and eat it!!! It's great to see the input from everyone. The more the merrier I say! As far as non-squad memebers adding input, I think it's a great way to see who the peeps are that wanna be down and will be willing to help out, whether it's taking 10 minutes to draft up an arbitrary logo or to help with an install, wax, whatever! It's all good!!!

Tsolin - Joel knows this is not the G.Squad site as that is NYGOC.com, his point is more based on the "REAL" members actually the ones putting something into making G.Squad what it is becoming....granted we use a public forum on G35driver and promote G5driver in everything we do as its the hub for contact and has spawned this group. However its the introduction of "I dont like your logo" that started this thread.....which is more of a "OK ,but get down first then speak on it" reaction
The issue some of the Squad - mainly the people that put the thing together from the BEGINNING are having with it Angelssin316 to address your comment, is the fact that its a change that is being promoted from outside the Squad..and being entertained (by some...and they will be dealt with....LOL).....the ideas are cool and appreciated but notice how as no one has said anything to Speedoholic about stopping his ideas, as he is IN the SQUAD...
And not because he just "posts online"...he shows to meets, ,heads up and organizes upstate NY and CT G-lines,shoots the sig photo's most of us use, comes up with ideas for the Squad, SHows to ALL meets and makes our numbers stronger and is out there gettin people in.
Speedoholic is someone that will be there when we need to show sponsers and dyno shops , etc etc....that we arent just a bunch of cars that chit chat and raffle....
We are tryin to grow something strong....and peeps LiKE BLITZJB said have come and gone....we've had to show numbers to get some of the things we have gotten....
doing what we do...like we say.EVERYONE IS INVITED BUT NOT EVERYONE IS G.SQUAD!
thats the issue....when we call on certain people cause we wanna show what strength we have in numbers ,the G.Sqaud peeps are the dedicated ones that come out, hit the streets and promote, get sponsers and etc etc.and see this turning into something bigger than..JUST A MEET.

Maybe you arent into your car like that or maybe to you its "man these guys are dreamin" but hey its the time we've put in and money and dedication to building something...and unfortunately...you cant grow with peeps that have an attitude like "oh well its just a car"...

Hearing things like "I cant make the 19th meet because I gotta watch the football game" tells me ...ITS COOL BUT THAT PERSON AINT G.SQUAD MATERIAL"...he/she would be just an attendee, cause when its time to say hey " we wanna book your spot and we can garauntee 25 cars"...that person AINT gonna show....
I hope this doesnt turn anyone off, but hey you cant please everyone...and it aint speacial if just anyone can by a G and get in .....sorry man we aint lookin for that....but if you are gonna put in and WAnt to be a part of something where everyone in is dedicated to seeing it grow...THEN G.Squad is for you....but you gotta get down first

i get where you're coming from vance. I guess when i posted i didn't really realize that you guys didn't want any outside input. Considering it wasn't one of you guys that started this thread, i can understand why you wouldn't want just anyone trying to dictate stuff about the club. I read the thread as being, hey lets try some ideas for a logo... so i did. No harm done... next time i'll be be more productive at work lol... but anyway, hope everything goes smooth on sunday... i'll definitely be there for the next meet... hopefully with my G lol
